Please join us at GreenTARA Gallery for this creative day in the Islands with visual artist Susan Smereka. She will be leading the workshop from 10am to 3pm in our downstairs Workshop Space on Sunday June 6, 2021. Please note this is an in-person workshop; masks are required. Max number of participants is 8.

You will make your own upcycle journal from an old book. We will take apart the book and rebind it with blank pages interleaved with pages from the original. Please feel free to bring any paper, suitable for writing and sketching which you might want to include in your journal. You will learn the parts of a book and how to do a long stitch binding with waxed linen thread. All materials and tools will be provided. There is a 1-hr lunch break on your own.

Kraemer & Kin micro-brewery and tasting room is co-located in the Gallery and open F, S, S noon to 6pm. They will be open to the public that afternoon.
